Located in Pessac, in southwest Bordeaux (exit 14 on the belt), our affordable hotel is under 4 miles from the city's downtown area. Our hotel is a great solution if you need a comfortable room with private bathroom and toilet that can accommodate up to three people. You can also use the buses and tramways to get to Bordeaux or to the universities or colleges (Institut Polytechnique, Institut d'Etudes Politiques and Ecole Nationale d'Ingénieurs des Travaux Agricoles).

You can also easily access Saint-Martin clinic (about half a mile away), the Haut L’évêque and Xavier Arnozan Hospitals and the CHU Pellegrin. If you want to take advantage of your stay in the region to try some good wine, you've come to the right place since we are near the Graves de Bordeaux vineyards (Appellation Pessac-Léognan) that produces some very well known red and white wines. I usually sleep in this type of motel no problem. I got no sleep in this one because of the traffic noise. I did not notice this in the receptions of the adjacent F1 and Buffalo restaraunt. And therefore think it was related to my room being on the 2nd floor - the motorway is sunk in a "ravine" so I expect the ground floors are shielded.
. Also my WiFi log on didn't work so the guest list was consulted and I was given someone else's - great service for me given it was 10'45pm and I think the reception was officially closed but a bit disconcerting that one guest could have been surfing anything under someone else's ID

A room which satisfied our purpose. The location was the reason for the booking. We had a good nights sleep, the bed was comfortable and the temperature fine on a very cold night. The first room key would not work and the room we stayed in had a faulty door which would not close properly but as it was lockable it was fine.

This not the first time I have stayed with Premiere Classe hotels, in fact I first used them in the early 90's. They offer budget rooms with ample parking and private shower/toilet and in my experience are always clean. The wi-fi here was good, the location was good, and has both heating and air conditioning. I find Premiere Class better then Formula 1 hotels (a competitor) and very similar pricing. Breakfast at 5 euros is excellent value.
