- After many happy stays at this Prem Classe we were disappointed this time. On arrival the heater was beeping and faulty so we were given another room. This one had no window catch so the window was unlockable - the catch appeared to have been wrenched off. On each of our three nights we were kept awake by noisey folk a couple of doors along from us into the early hours...a problem of the place not being supervised. The staff were very friendly but the standards had certainly slipped. We will probably look elsewhere for our next visit to Lille.

- I rarely give bad reviews, you know, Im an easy going traveller, but having stayed here I can tell you now Im never going to stay in the north of France ever again. Why, one reason, BED BUGS. I stayed here with my family and we had rooms 58 and 59. I had the misfortune to stay in 59. I awoke shaking at 3am to find BED BUGS. I counted around 56 bites on my body although as more kept appearing this was a conservative estimate. My sons in 59 also got bitten around 40 times each. I spent the first week of my holiday looking like I had the pox! I don't want to scare you with photos but I do have them. My husband was also bitten in room 58 but not as badly as us. I have since contacted Louvre hotels twice to complain and ask for a refund. They haven't bothered to reply. Id honestly say to anyone, pay a bit extra and stay somewhere where you won't be bitten to shreds.

We have been to Prem Classe many times and they suit our basic needs so what more could we want? Easy to book online and cheaper in advance. Choose the right location because they vary!

The shower fitting worked, as did the toilet. A king sized bed, heating and what looks like an aircon unit. We will continue to use this budget hotel for its location and comfort.
