- Stayed here while visiting Great War sites. As usual with these hotels it's within a retail or industrial site. It was cheap, booked Friday to Monday.Firstly the room had not been properly cleaned. The rooms are small, very small. No UK TV, Breakfast poor value. It was also very noisy at night, returning guests from Lilli. What can I say- if you need cheap ok, otherwise look elsewhere

- We used the hotel for a stopover on our way from the UK to Slovakia. We booked 2 rooms and the price was fair. Rooms are very basic but they do have private bathrooms so they are absolutely fine for the use as a transit hotel.
We arrived at half past midnight. The gate was closed but some guys (guests at the hotel) helped me to open it. The receptionist was polite and he spoke basic English - enough to understand each other.
During our stay the hotel was full of strange individuals. A group of drunk men with a half-naked woman playing loud music. laughing, conversating loudly outside their rooms. A couple (man and woman) who argued loudly whole night, they were throwing things, shouting, banging doors non-stop throughout the night. It stopped at around 4am. However, at 5am we were woken up by fire alarm. There was no smoke and no other sign of fire so for abut 15 minutes we didn't know what to do. Then the alarm stopped and even though no one confirmed it is safe to go back to rooms we assumed it was safe so we went in. I found out from the receptionist in the morning the alarm was triggered by the fighting couple.
Some 15 minutes after the alarm went off (at around 5:30 am) the group of men with the women left the hotel, shouting, laughing, with no respect for other people.
I didn't sleep at all at night and there was a 16 hours drive ahead of me. Joy!
I'm not holding the hotel responsible for behaviour of the clients. The main reason why I am awarding minimum stars in this review is the facts that the sheets on bunk beds were filthy, unchanged from whoever used them before... disgusting! We found this out only in the morning. Our daughter used the sheets. Disgusting!
The toilet was dripping throughout the night - a drip every second, followed by a short hiss from the system filling up the cistern every 3 seconds. So annoying!!!
The doors couldn't be closed easily so the only way of closing them was to bang them. This was going on whole night so the whole night someone was banging doors loudly which shook the walls.
This was the worst hotel stay ever. Horrible.MARIE N, Directeur général at Premiere Classe Lille Est - Stade Pierre Mauroy, responded to this reviewDear customer, thank you for your comment. My sleep was disturbed by noisy traffic – not the hum of a busy road, but large vehicles nearby. It was disturbed by other guests talking loudly outside until the small hours.
The room was stuffy and hot – I’m glad the weather wasn’t any warmer. The bed was ok but the pillows terrible.
This was my first stay at Premiere Classe. And it will be the last.MARIE N, Gérant at Premiere Classe Lille Est - Stade Pierre Mauroy, responded to this reviewThank you for giving us your review. Customer feedback is a constant source of improvement. Best regards,
