Fully renovated in 2015, our 1-star Hotel Première Classe Marseille Est - La Valentine welcomes you in the center of the La Valentine shopping area, 15 minutes from the city center and its restaurants, where you can enjoy our famous bouillabaisse. 25 minutes away by car from the Creeks of Cassis (via Aubagne), you will be not far from the Old Port of Marseille, the Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde Basilica that is often nicknamed La Bonne Mère and the Vélodrome Stadium on highway A50.
With all the commodities located nearby, a movie theater and numerous shops and restaurants, our hotel is ideally located 30 minutes by car from the OK Corral Theme Park in Cuges-les-Pins and 10 minutes by car from the Commanderie, the fitness center for the OM (Olympique de Marseille) soccer team.
Our 82 rooms are all air conditioned and come with a private washroom with shower, sink and toilet. They are also equipped with a desk space and TV.
Using the Wi-Fi access codes that will be given to you when you arrive at the hotel reception, you will be able to freely surf the web during your entire stay. You also have the possibility of enjoying an on-site all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet.

Both ladies at the desk (check-in and check-out) were not as friendly as one would expect while travelling, most of the times arriving at the hotel quite tired.

- Positive: Unlike most Premiere Class hotels, this one had older and nicer people working in the reception. That was a plus. Locations is actually very good if you have a car. Many restaurants and outlet shops are within walking distance.
Not so great: Room could have been cleaner and I honestly don't understand how someone woukd think that it is OK for a toilet not to have a seat cover...

3 internet didnt work due to the incorrect use of my name as the password and no helpdesk

so just sleep from 9pm onwards

- Even with a GPS is not easy to find the location of this hotel, but despite everything we made it ... we drove from Barcelona to Marseille to admire the Mediterranean coast ... the experience at this hotel was acceptable considering that despite the confined space of the rooms had everything we needed. However the breakfast area really collapsed in the morning when guests also came to eat. The lady at the front desk offered key information to leave our car in a nearby metro station and spent our day to see Marseille in the tourist city bus. At the end of the day we drive Montepelier and continue our journey!
